Something that has crossed my mind about putting recipes on my blog is copyright issues – I know that I am influenced greatly by recipes that I have cooked from books and magazines and sometimes I just want to share recipes that I have with maybe a small tweak.  Whilst this link is written in line with American copyright law, I think it is a great source of guidance on etiquette of sharing recipes via a blog.

This is the etiquette that I will follow when sharing recipes here – please contact me in the friendly way that David does in his blog if you feel I have not adequately attributed a recipe.  I will endeavour to change it appropriately.  Similarly if you wish to share recipes from my blog, let people know your source or inspiration and point people to my blog.  Thanks – let’s share good food ideas as widely as possible.
