This study confirms that fruit and veg is beneficial to health and the message that we all should aim for ‘at least 5 a day’ is a good one. Of course if you can manage to squeeze more in then there is only further benefit.
It is a good summary from people who understand epidemiological studies such as this and the effects of correcting for things like activity and smoking etc.
